Some of the most common options are:

Smoke and Heat Detectors

Motion Detector

These can be used to protect larger areas and units are also available that allow pets to move through them freely without causing false alarms.

Cellular Communicator

Also known as Cellular Back-up, these are used to protect customers from the phone lines being cut or out of service. Its only job is to report alarm signals. These are also used when a customer has no home phone line.

Glass Break Detector

These are normally used to protect glass doors such as sliders or French doors. They trigger upon sensing the frequency that breaking glass makes.

Carbon Monoxide Detector

Protects you and your family from deadly gases, a must have if you have gas appliances or a fireplace.

Remote Control Key Fob

This allows one button operation of the system, much like a car alarm.

Two-Way Voice Systems

This feature allows the monitoring center to talk directly to you in the event of an alarm. You may then let them know exactly what kind of assistance you need.

Medical Panic Button

Add this to your system and have 24hr medical assistance with the press of 1 button. This is wireless and is worn by the user.

Outside Siren with Strobe Light

This attracts the attention of neighbors as well as lights the way to your house or business for the Police or Fire dept.

Flood Sensor

Alerts the monitoring center of a broken water pipe or flood. They will then call and notify the customer, very important for part time residents.
